Submission Guidelines

Which Guidelines Apply

Each HealthTechNode award is designed around a distinct area of healthcare technology. The individual award page provides the most relevant direction for that category.

Use the following order when preparing your entry:

1. Follow the submission prompts and judging criteria on the specific award page.
2. Follow any additional instructions shown in the application form.
3. Use this page for requirements that apply across the HealthTechNode Awards program.

Written Response

Unless the award page or application form states otherwise, the main written response may contain up to 5,000 characters. This is a maximum, not a recommended length or a requirement to use the entire field.

Use as much space as needed to address the category-specific prompts clearly and support your claims. Entries are evaluated on relevance, substance, and evidence, not response length.

What to Include in a Strong Entry

Focus on the information requested for the specific award. Where relevant, explain:

• What the solution does and who it serves
• How it is innovative or meaningfully differentiated
• Why it fits the award category
• How it works in real healthcare environments
• What measurable outcomes, adoption, validation, or other evidence support the entry

Specific facts are more useful than broad marketing claims. Include supporting context such as results, dates, customer examples, regulatory milestones, clinical validation, or independent recognition when applicable.

Required Materials

A complete entry should include:

• The information requested in the application form
• A high-resolution company or product logo, preferably a transparent PNG or vector file
• At least one high-quality image representing the product, platform, device, service, or solution
• Supporting links or documentation requested for the specific award

A short product or demonstration video may also be included when relevant.

Customer Identity and Confidentiality

If customer or client results are used to support an entry, identify the relevant organization in the submission so the information can be evaluated.

You may request in writing that a customer or client name be withheld from public winner coverage. Confidentiality requests should be made at the time of submission. HealthTechNode may contact the designated entrant representative if clarification is needed.

Fees and Payment

A separate submission fee applies to each award category entered. Fees may vary by submission deadline and are listed on the specific award page and application form.

Payment is collected when the entry is submitted. The fee covers consideration of the entry and does not guarantee recognition. Submission fees are nonrefundable.

Review and Judging

HealthTechNode reviews entries for completeness, eligibility, and category fit. We may contact the designated entrant representative for clarification or additional information.

Eligible entries are evaluated using the judging criteria published for the specific award. Across the program, evaluation generally considers innovation, category fit, evidence strength, and real-world usability.

The winner announcement date is listed on the applicable award page. Winners are notified in advance and receive digital assets for marketing and promotion.

Multiple Categories

A company, product, platform, device, service, or individual may be entered in more than one category when there is a genuine fit.

Each category requires a separate application and submission fee. Tailor each response to the purpose, prompts, and judging criteria of the award being entered rather than reusing the same general narrative without modification.
