QuantalX Neuroscience Wins the 2026 Pioneering Medical Device Award
Honoring breakthrough devices expanding what is possible in modern care.
Salt Lake City, June 1, 2026, HealthTechNode has named QuantalX Neuroscience the winner of the 2026 Pioneering Medical Device Award, recognizing its Delphi-MD™ platform for introducing a new approach to direct functional brain assessment in clinical care.
QuantalX earned this recognition for helping move neurological evaluation beyond indirect structural observation and toward objective, repeatable measurement of brain network function. By combining transcranial magnetic stimulation, electroencephalography, and advanced algorithmic analysis in a clinically accessible system, Delphi-MD™ gives providers a new way to assess brain function in real time and support more informed decision-making across complex neurological settings.
The winning entry stood out for its combination of technical sophistication, clinical relevance, and regulatory momentum. QuantalX highlighted key milestones including FDA De Novo classification, Breakthrough Device Designation, U.S. commercialization, and a dedicated CPT reimbursement code supporting integration into clinical workflows. Together, those achievements positioned Delphi-MD™ as a meaningful step forward in functional brain assessment.
“QuantalX Neuroscience stood out for introducing a first-of-its-kind approach to direct functional brain assessment in routine clinical care. Delphi-MD™ represents the kind of device innovation this award was created to recognize, pairing deep technical advancement with a practical clinical pathway for measuring brain network function more objectively and more consistently.”

Why QuantalX Neuroscience was selected
The Pioneering Medical Device Award recognizes breakthrough devices and hardware-enabled innovations that expand clinical capability through meaningful advances in design, measurement, precision, and usability. In reviewing this year’s submissions, HealthTechNode looked for technologies that did more than improve existing workflows. The strongest entries introduced new ways to understand, monitor, or influence patient care through a device-centered innovation.
QuantalX met that standard by creating a non-invasive system designed to directly measure brain network function. Delphi-MD™ stimulates targeted brain networks, records electrophysiological response signatures, and compares results against an age-correlated normative database to generate standardized reports on functional brain activity. That approach helps support earlier detection of abnormalities, longitudinal monitoring of change, and more informed treatment decisions across a range of neurological settings.
The platform’s clinical accessibility was also a major factor. Delphi-MD™ brings advanced functional assessment into a workflow that is designed for real-world care, helping make this type of measurement more practical outside specialized research settings. That combination of pioneering device architecture and growing real-world readiness made QuantalX the clear winner in this category.
Honorable Mention
HealthTechNode also recognized Ozelle with an Honorable Mention for the EHBT-50 Mini Lab Multi-Functional Analyzer. The submission stood out for bringing hematology, biochemistry, and immunoassay into a single AI-powered point-of-care system designed to expand diagnostic access, simplify workflows, and support faster clinical insight in decentralized care environments.
