2026 Mental & Behavioral HealthTech Award Winner: Zanda Health
Innovating for Healthier Minds and Stronger Communities.
HealthTechNode is proud to announce that Zanda Health has been selected as the winner of the 2026 Mental & Behavioral HealthTech Award, recognizing BizzyAI and its work helping psychologists, counselors, therapists, and allied health professionals reduce documentation and administrative demands while remaining focused on client care.
Zanda Health stood out for embedding purpose-built AI directly within the practice management environment clinicians already use for appointments, client records, clinical notes, billing, reporting, and communications. By supporting clinical documentation and practice administration within one secure workflow, BizzyAI helps practitioners reclaim time, remain more present during sessions, and reduce the after-hours workload that contributes to professional burnout.
“Zanda Health earned this recognition for addressing a substantial but sometimes overlooked challenge in mental and behavioral healthcare: the administrative burden placed on the professionals delivering care. BizzyAI stood out for combining practical AI capabilities with established clinical workflows, healthcare-grade security, and measurable time savings. By helping practitioners spend less time documenting care and more time engaging with clients, Zanda is creating meaningful value for both providers and the people they serve.”

Winner: Zanda Health
Zanda Health’s BizzyAI was selected for its practical approach to reducing the documentation, communication, and administrative demands placed on mental health and allied health professionals. Rather than requiring practitioners to move sensitive information into a separate general-purpose AI tool, BizzyAI operates within Zanda’s existing practice management platform.
BizzyAI: Scribe supports live-session transcription and dictated notes, then prepares structured clinical documentation using the practitioner’s selected template. Practitioners can adjust the tone, format, level of detail, and instructions while retaining responsibility for reviewing and approving the final clinical record. This allows clinicians to remain more attentive during sessions while reducing the amount of documentation left for the end of the day.
The broader BizzyAI suite extends that support into other practice workflows. BizzyAI: Write helps prepare letters, emails, client replies, policies, templates, and other communications. BizzyAI: Note Refine turns rough clinical or administrative notes into clearer documentation. BizzyAI: Insights is designed to help practitioners locate relevant information from client histories and previous notes for summaries, referrals, reports, and communications.
Zanda also provided measurable examples of the platform’s effect on daily practice. Psychologist Miki Skinner reported reducing documentation time from approximately 15 minutes to five minutes per note, a 66% reduction. Dr. Will Vaughn reported reducing note-writing time from approximately 10 minutes to two minutes. Practitioner Kathryn Theodosis reported seeing approximately 15 to 20% more clients on an average working day without a corresponding increase in administrative or cognitive burden.
Security and professional oversight were also important parts of the submission. Zanda is ISO 27001 certified and independently verified for compliance with applicable HIPAA, GDPR, and Australian Privacy Principles requirements. Practitioners retain control over AI-assisted outputs and transcript settings, and customer clinical data is not used to train public AI models. BizzyAI is designed to support professional judgment while keeping the practitioner responsible for the final record.

Runner-Up
Regulate GmbH was recognized as runner-up for the 2026 Mental & Behavioral HealthTech Award. Regulate stood out for its digital breathwork platform, which provides more than 60 short guided sessions designed to support focus, stress regulation, energy, recovery, and emotional capacity within the working day.
The platform combines brief breathing protocols with real-time recommendations and wearable heart-rate feedback collected before and after sessions. Regulate’s supporting materials reported measurable improvements across workplace programs, including reduced stress and improvements in focus, readiness, energy, composure, and overall performance.
Regulate was especially compelling for making its sessions practical and accessible. Most exercises can be completed within one to five minutes, allowing users to integrate structured breathwork into existing routines without requiring lengthy appointments or substantial disruption. Its combination of personalization, wearable feedback, and brief evidence-informed protocols made Regulate a strong runner-up in this year’s program.
