The strongest submissions will clearly explain the healthcare need being addressed and provide credible evidence of the device’s performance, usability, safety, or impact.

Organizations may enter directly or be submitted by an authorized representative, agency, communications partner, distributor, customer, or member of the development team.

What Judges Will Look For

Entries will be evaluated based on the device’s innovation, design, evidence, usability, and healthcare impact. Judges will consider:

• Innovation: The originality and significance of the device, technology, or engineering approach
• Clinical relevance: The importance of the health or healthcare need the device addresses
• Design and usability: How effectively the device supports its intended users and environment
• Performance and validation: The strength of testing, research, clinical evidence, technical results, or real-world performance data
• Safety and reliability: Evidence that the device was developed with appropriate attention to safety, quality, and dependable operation
• Measurable impact: Credible evidence of improved outcomes, access, efficiency, accuracy, experience, or cost

Eligibility

• Open to companies, organizations, teams, and developers worldwide
• The submitted device must have a clear healthcare, clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic, monitoring, or patient-support application
• The device must have been developed, released, implemented, expanded, or significantly advanced during the 2026 calendar year
• Devices at different stages of development may enter when meaningful progress, testing, validation, regulatory advancement, or implementation can be demonstrated
• Regulatory status and intended use should be described accurately where applicable
• Supporting claims and results should be accurate and attributable to the submitted device

What to Include in Your Entry

Entrants should clearly explain the device, the need it addresses, and the progress or impact achieved during 2026. Submissions should include:

• The name and description of the medical device
• The healthcare problem, clinical need, or user challenge it addresses
• An explanation of its design, operation, and distinguishing features
• Information about its intended users, care setting, and practical application
• Relevant testing, research, validation, safety, quality, or regulatory information
• Important development, launch, implementation, partnership, or adoption milestones from 2026
• Measurable results demonstrating improved outcomes, accuracy, efficiency, access, usability, or experience
• Supporting links, demonstrations, reports, research, case studies, or customer examples
